… but to accelerate change, the right message is crucial.

You know compelling messaging is essential to the success of any product.

Yep, even climate-crisis solutions.

But you’re busy building. The last thing you want to do is worry about selling, when what you really want to focus on is scaling your tech and averting a global climate catastrophe.

That’s why you’re here.

What you’ve built could shift our trajectory and change future climate conditions for the better.

So Don't let lifeless messaging
stunt your growth

Now let me tell you why I'm here:

I believe our collective futures depend on the successful marketing of climate tech.

And that requires clear, strategic, purpose-built messaging. I can help you with that.

Call it me doing my part.

Well that and the little stuff.

Like collecting compost on my tiny NYC countertop, delighting in the details of the natural world (and hoping it inspires others to do the same), and educating my husband on what can and cannot be recycled – on what feels like a daily basis.

→ We all do what we can, right?

the climate crisis is the challenge of our lifetime

Awareness surrounding its significance continues to grow – and so does the overwhelm. If you don’t communicate your value in a way that’s both accessible and engaging – it’ll fall flat.

That’s where I come in.

I'm here to help your brand flourish.

I’m Meg –

I believe a dire situation requires a light voice and a positive outlook.

My zones of genius and passion collide here:

I pair hardcore research with a warm and welcome tone – and turn technospeak into something relatable, likable, and easy to understand. Making it easy for your readers to engage.

My tendency toward optimism and obsession with the power of writing to advocate and persuade on behalf of the greater good make it easy to tackle your project with enthusiasm – and it shows.

I’m a…

  • Mom to one toddler and two cats
  • Botanist and environmental nerd turned marketer for good (still the nerd, too 🤓)
  • Believer in taking the best of every world you’re involved in and alchemizing those things into something new, wonderful, and… effective

The Pillars that guide my PROCESS

The creative process starts with curiosity. It’s a catalyst for change. It’s the basis for caring and connection – for and with ourselves and others. It’s the sparkle that keeps things moving. It’s the lightness that makes room for play.

I believe in putting effort into the things that matter. (Spoiler: it all matters.) There’s no point in taking on a project in which you’re not invested in the outcome. Even the tiniest of details deserve meticulous attention.

I believe the way you present yourself is the way you are. And so I aim to show up with grace, I strive to lead with kindness, and I seek to understand perspectives different than my own.

I like this word for its many meanings: fair-mindedness, what’s left after the rest has been dealt with – an even distribution. I believe seeking balance in the micro is our best chance of finding it in the macro.

It’s easier for your prospects to do nothing than it is for them to change.

This means your messaging has some heavy lifting to do. My specialty is knowing what to say and how to say it so you connect with your audience, come across as the game-changer you are, and effectively inspire behavior change.

Profit isn’t a dirty word. And to keep doin’ what you’re doin’, you need to be in the black. So how can you tackle climate change – and keep stakeholders happy?

With the artful implementation of the following:

→ Meaningful storytelling

→ Persuasive copywriting

→ Language that connects

So. Should you work with me?

Well, be warned: we’re not a match if…

  • You’re looking for an order-taker, not a partner & strategist
  • Communication isn’t your thing. Timely feedback is the best feedback – and it gets you the best results
  • We can probably stop at “communication isn’t your thing” ‘cause this whole shindig is allllll about the language

But if you want to work with a writer who…

  • Understands the science and isn’t afraid to hit the books → environmental science nerd and botanist turned writer and marketer for good, hi 👋
  • Loves a good treasure hunt (hellooOo voice-of-customer gold)
  • Understands the importance of design and won’t leave you hanging with nothing but a messy doc, wondering how things are meant to flow
  • Is annoyingly invested in continual learning (just ask my husband)
  • Thinks Toblerones are their own food group*…
Then we might be a match made in eco-heaven.

*(Note: I’ll understand if you don’t agree with the Toblerone thing.)
